Cajas National Park is the most important natural area of ​​the destination. Its 235 lagoons and a thousand bodies of water allow you to live experiences from another world. Walk among moors and forests, discover native flora and fauna, fish in the rivers, climb rocks, and, if the day allows it, camp in its grasslands to admire the most fascinating starry nights.

By car:

From Centro Histórico (historic sector), drive 19.5 km along the Cuenca – Molleturo – Naranjal road.

In approximately 35 minutes you will be in the parking lot of La Toreadora, the famous lagoon of the park.

By bus:

Take the Cooperativa de Transporte Occidental bus from Feria Libre market from 07:00 a.m. to 02:45 p.m, and from the Terminal Terrestre (bus station) from 07:00 a.m. to 02:30 p.m. The cost of the ticket is $2.00 to “La Toreadora”.

Return:

After your visit, you can take any bus that has the city of Cuenca as its destination.
